Thermal imaging by drone in Szczecin & Poland — roofs, halls & PV systems

We use a drone-mounted thermal camera to detect heat loss, diagnose solar panel faults and inspect roof insulation. Fast, safe and with centimetre precision.

We carry out thermal inspections of flat and pitched roofs, building facades, industrial halls and photovoltaic farms using a drone fitted with a radiometric thermal camera (640 x 512 px resolution). The camera records the temperature of every pixel, enabling precise localisation of thermal anomalies -- thermal bridges, damp, air leaks and faulty PV cells.

This service is aimed at property managers, construction firms, energy auditors, warehouse owners and PV farm operators. Drone thermography replaces ground-level inspection (which cannot cover roof surfaces) and cherry-picker inspection (which is slower and more expensive).

Every inspection concludes with a PDF report containing thermograms with a temperature scale overlay, corresponding RGB photographs, a description and location of each anomaly, and recommendations for remedial action. We deliver the report within 2-3 working days of the flight.

Full roof coverage without scaffolding or cherry pickers

The drone covers the entire roof surface in a single flight -- even halls exceeding 5,000 m2. No need to close the building or arrange roof access.

Detection of defects invisible to the naked eye

The thermal camera identifies thermal bridges, damp beneath the waterproofing layer, air leaks around flashings and faulty PV cells with 5 cm precision.

Report with thermograms and recommendations

The PDF report contains thermograms, RGB images, anomaly locations on a roof plan, cause descriptions and specific repair recommendations -- ready to hand to a contractor.

PV farm inspection: 1 MW in 30 minutes

Drone thermography can scan a 1 MW PV farm in approx. 30 minutes. The report identifies faulty strings, hotspots and mechanical panel damage.

  1. 1

Thermal inspection of a warehouse roof

Detecting heat loss and damp on flat roofs of halls ranging from several hundred to several thousand m2 -- the basis for planning roof covering repairs.

  2. 2

    Photovoltaic farm diagnostics

Scanning PV panels for faulty cells, hotspots, mechanical damage and shading. A defect map report facilitates service planning.

  3. 3

    Building energy audit support

Non-contact assessment of facade insulation, window frames and roof-wall junctions -- supplementary data for the energy audit required for thermal modernisation.

  4. 4

Thermal monitoring of pipelines and tanks

Early detection of hot water, steam or chemical media leaks in industrial installations -- without interrupting plant operations.

How the project works

  1. 1

    Contact and scope definition

We determine the object type (roof, facade, PV farm, industrial installation), its area and the inspection objective.

  2. 2

    Selecting conditions and scheduling

Thermal inspection requires suitable conditions -- a minimum 10 C temperature difference between interior and exterior, no rain and low wind. We propose the optimal date.

  3. 3

    Drone flight with thermal camera

We fly over the object recording thermograms and RGB images with overlay. A typical warehouse roof takes approx. 15-30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Analysis and report preparation

We analyse the thermograms, identify anomalies, describe causes and prepare a PDF report with repair recommendations.

What the client receives

  • PDF report with thermograms, RGB images and anomaly descriptions
  • Anomaly map overlaid on the building plan
  • Prioritised repair recommendations
  • Raw thermogram files (RJPG) on request
  • Thermal orthophotomap of the object (optional)

Area of operation

We carry out thermal inspections from our base in Szczecin across the West Pomeranian and Lubusz Voivodeships. By prior arrangement, we accept commissions throughout Poland. Travel up to 50 km from Szczecin is included in the price.
