Wildlife damage estimation by drone — expert reports & PDF

We carry out wildlife damage assessments using drones across the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, throughout Poland and in Germany. Rapid response, precise area measurements and documentation compliant with Ministry of Environment regulations.

We fly drones over crop fields where damage caused by wild boar, deer, roe deer and other game has occurred. From the aerial photographs we generate an orthophotomap of the field, on which we precisely delineate the boundaries of the damaged crop and calculate its area in square metres and the percentage of destruction -- data that forms the basis of the official expert report.

This service is aimed at farmers, hunting associations, expert assessors and insurers. A drone orthophotomap eliminates the subjectivity of manual measurement -- the damaged area is calculated with geodetic accuracy (1-3 cm), and the documentation is resistant to challenge in compensation proceedings.

Time is the critical factor: the condition of a damaged crop changes from day to day, so documentation must be produced as quickly as possible after notification. Thanks to drone mobility, we can reach the field and complete the survey within hours of contact -- even on the same day.

Geodetically precise area measurement

A drone orthophotomap calculates the damaged area with 1-3 cm accuracy -- eliminating disputes about the scale of losses between the farmer and the hunting association.

Same-day survey after notification

In urgent cases we travel to the field on the same day. Speed of response is critical because crop condition changes from day to day.

Documentation compliant with regulations

The expert report contains an orthophotomap, area calculations, damage percentage and photographic documentation -- in accordance with the Ministry of Environment regulations.

Evidence for legal proceedings

The drone orthophotomap and PDF expert report constitute credible evidence in compensation disputes between farmers and hunting associations.

  1. 1

Wild boar damage to maize and cereals

Documenting destruction in maize, wheat and rapeseed fields caused by wild boar -- the most common type of hunting damage in the West Pomeranian region.

  2. 2

Deer and roe deer damage to winter crops

Estimating losses to winter crops and young forestry plantations caused by deer, roe deer and fallow deer grazing -- orthophotomap and PDF expert report.

  3. 3

Objective data for the hunting association assessment committee

Providing an orthophotomap and area calculations for the assessment committee -- eliminating disputes over subjective visual estimates.

  4. 4

    Photogrammetric documentation for court proceedings

Preparing professional documentation with orthophotomap, calculations and GPS metadata -- serving as evidence in legal proceedings.

How the project works

  1. 1

    Damage notification

The farmer or hunting association contacts us by phone or email. We establish the field location, crop type and approximate extent of damage.

  2. 2

    Drone flight over the field

We travel to the field and fly the drone. A flight over a 5-10 ha field takes approx. 15-25 minutes.

  3. 3

    Data processing and area calculation

We generate an orthophotomap of the field, delineate the boundaries of the damaged crop and calculate the damaged area in m2 and the destruction percentage.

  4. 4

    Expert report preparation (PDF)

The report contains the orthophotomap, calculations, photographic documentation and flight metadata. We deliver it within 2-3 working days of the flight.

What the client receives

  • Expert report in PDF format (compliant with regulations)
  • Orthophotomap of the field with damage boundaries marked
  • Damaged area calculation (m2) and destruction percentage
  • Flight photographic documentation (full-resolution RGB images)
  • Flight metadata: date, GPS coordinates, drone parameters

Area of operation

We carry out wildlife damage drone estimates throughout the West Pomeranian voivodeship, and on prior arrangement also in other Polish regions and in Germany (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg).
